Academic Induction

To be updated for Session 2020

Academic Induction is a crucial initial step to welcoming and introducing you to University life so that you can get your studies off to a positive start.

We clearly cannot tell you everything about how to be a successful student, but, in these sessions, we aim to equip you for the first few weeks and to let you know how and where to get any questions answered.

Tuesday 17 September 2019

Staff will be available to welcome you to the school and there will be a session with key staff as well as information about the Advisory Service, timetables, studying abroad and much more.

It is important that you attend this event as we find that this is the best way for students to prepare for your new academic life and make a successful transition to the University.

Your induction will be continued throughout Biology 1.

There will be an opportunity to meet the Head of Learning & Teaching and the Chief Adviser as well as the Course Coordinators for Fundamental Topics in Biology and Key Skills in Biology.
