Rosannah: Studying in Australia
My name is Rosannah and I graduated with a BSc (hons) in Anatomy. Studying abroad in my second year was without doubt the most incredible experience I have ever had. I arrived into a completely blank canvas and now I have another whole life out there for me full of loved ones and new adventures that one day I will revisit. It is the biggest challenge I have thus faced and it has driven my unquenchable thirst to seek more out of life: my confidence has soared because I have discovered that the sky really is the limit!
Every single day in Australia was an adventure; The University of Queensland is so beautiful and I made so many lifelong friends in the classroom as well as outside. During the holidays I took a backpack and my passport and hit the road, finding adventures everywhere I went.
I discovered hidden waterfalls in the rainforest, I went bungee jumping, I snorkelled on The Great Barrier reef, worked on a farm in the middle of the bush, saw the New Years' Eve fireworks from Sydney Harbour Bridge - just to name a few! I look back upon my year abroad and I am so proud of what I achieved, so grateful for the chance and so sad it's over. It was without doubt the best year of my life.
