The Glasgow Science Festival would usually take place each summer over amazing venues like the Kelvingrove Museum, the Kibble Palace at the Botanic Gardens or local community halls.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the June 2020 programme, we bounced back online with Science on the Sofa and brought these festival-favourites into your home.

Among the fun activities, demos, games and experiments was Dr Mary McVey's train-at-home pack, which participants work through to become a CSI expert - and help identify who stole the elephant.

An ornamental elephant sat on a red cloth
"Help! My elephant is missing" - A phrase that haunts Inspector Hugo to this day!

A crime has taken place. There are five suspects. Can you help Inspector Hugo to find the culprit?

Work through the training in the pack below to become a CSI expert and help us identify who stole the precious elephant from the collection.

You will:

- Learn how to do some forensic tests.
- Check your observational skills
- Use your new skills to investigate the evidence
- Decide who is the mastermind behind the elephant theft
