The highly-anticipated Great 'Life Sci' Bake Off was held in the Sir James Black Building school office on Friday 15 November and raised a fantastic total of £194.19 for BBC Children in Need.

An array of enticing cakes, buns, and biscuits were put to a taste test by our very own Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, judges Lillias Robinson and Hooi Ling Eng, both of whom did a fantastic job.

The results were as follows:

1st - Jenni Greer's Children in Need Vanilla & Stawberry Sponge

2nd - Dr Maureen Griffiths' Chocolate Fudge Cake

3rd - Life Sci kid Aidan's Place Banana Loaf
