The UA, the world's leading undergraduate awards programme, assembles a panel of experts from around the globe to assess the competition entries, and they have narrowed the field down to the very best submissions.
Highly Commended Entrants are ranked in the top 10 per cent of all submissions to their specific category, with each person on this list in the running to be the Global Winner of their category - to be announced on 16 September.
My paper ‘Plumage development and environmental factors influence surface temperature gradients in wandering albatross chicks’ has been Highly Commended in the Life Sciences category! @UofGMVLS @UofGSoLS @IBAHCM @DomMcCafferty @CyanistesNord https://t.co/7fwKOwvMuA— David Stone (@DW_Stone) September 4, 2019
Head of School Professor Simon Guild said: "I am delighted to see our students winning recognition for their academic ability through receiving these international University Awards.
"It is very gratifying to see students from Life Sciences receiving such accolades and on behalf of the School would offer them our sincerest congratulations."
The UA Global Summit will take place in Dublin, Ireland between 11 and 13 November.
