Semester two information for students

A full explanation of the School of Law's approach to teaching in the forthcoming semester is set out in Moodle and will vary depending on which programme you are enrolled upon. Please see below for further guidance.

LLB programmes

In Semester 2, Level 1 and 2 tutorials will continue to run on campus face-to-face and lectures online. At Levels 3 and 4 all classes will be on campus face-to-face. In exceptional circumstances only, and upon request, students may be permitted to study remotely with some limited additional support.

In this instance, please email us setting out briefly what these circumstances are and telling us the courses you are taking. We will then explain your options, and discuss the help and support we can offer.

Further details can be found in the Moodle communication of 23 November.

LLM programmes

The first two weeks of LLM teaching in Semester 2 will now be delivered online. We hope to move to face to face teaching from 24 January. Further updates will be provided via Moodle. You should ensure that you follow any Moodle announcements from individual courses to stay up to date.

Further details can be found in the Moodle communication of 6 January.

Diploma in Professional Legal Practice programme

Due to the Diploma's vocational structure and use of external tutors to carry out teaching, the Diploma will be delivered online for the first two weeks of semester two (weeks beginning Monday 10 and 17 January 2022).  We will be led by the University regarding the remainder of semester two. Much will depend on what the situation is like in January 2022 and on Government guidance and regulation.

Further details can be found in the Moodle communication of 20 December.
