Exploring the reactive defences of necessity and coercion in Scots law
Grant completed the LLB in 2013 with honours at University of Edinburgh. He went on to work at the Scottish Law Commission for two years with Dr Andrew Steven on the Moveable Transactions Project.
He is currently a member of the Criminal Law Forum and still an advisory group member on the Moveable Transactions project.
My current interest is in the structure of criminal offences and defences from both a historical and philosophical outlook. I am also interested in matters of International Private Law, particularly property and contractual matters.
