Glasgow Law Post Graduate Conference 2020 - Call for Papers
In recognition of the significant Outlander Conference taking place at University of Glasgow in June 2020, GLPGC2020 invites Post Graduate Students to submit abstracts discussing
‘Outlandish Legal Research’
This overarching theme is purposely inexplicit to encourage a wide variety of legal research and to allow researchers to engage creatively with the theme in whatever way works best for them – be it through their exciting topics, unconventional ideas or innovative approaches!
At the conference, there will be five streams across the wide spectrum of the School of Law’s five research groups. Papers must be couched in the areas covered by these groups:
- Legal Theory
- Law Reform & Public Policy
- International Law, Conflict & Security
- Intellectual Property
- Corporate & Financial Law
All of the streams will have separate panels of speakers, each chaired by an Academic from the appropriate research groups.
Feedback to the speakers will be given in by the Academic Panel Chair in addition to discussion from the floor.
Presentations are to be between 20-25 minutes.
Abstract submissions of no more than 300 words by 5 pm, 21 February 2020 to email@example.com
Notification of successful abstracts by 5pm, 13 March 2020
