Research interests
My research investigates the robustness of viruses, with a focus on HIV-1. In addition to trying to identify novel immune challenges that HIV-1 may face, we examine how the virus navigates between divergent needs to both conserve fitness and function but to also overcome diverse and fluctuating immune and environmental pressures
