Dr Christopher Willard-Kyle
- Research Associate (Philosophy)
Biography
I am a research associate in philosophy at the University of Glasgow in connection with the COGITO Epistemology Research Centre and the Dimensions of Wellbeing grant.
Epistemology is my home subfield, but I also work in the philosophy of language and the philosophy of religion. I am especially interested in potentially valuable cases of ignorance (epistemically speaking). Especially cases in which someone might reasonably hold off on knowledgeably closing inquiry in order to inquire further.
I finished my Ph.D. in philosophy at Rutgers (2021) under the supervision of Ernie Sosa; before that, I did an M.Phil. in philosophical theology at the University of Oxford (2014).
More information about me can be found here.
