Dr Robert Simpson

Robert qualified as a doctor in 2001 via the University of Aberdeen. His initial postgraduate medical training was in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, gaining the MRCEM qualification in 2006. In 2009 he completed vocational training as a general practitioner, gaining the MRCGP qualification. Between 2012 and 2015 he completed a GP clinical academic fellowship in Integrative Medicine, jointly administered via the University of Glasgow, the NHS Centre for Integrative Care, and the University of Arizona. During this time Robert also worked as a visiting scholar at the Center for Brain and Cognition at the University of California San Diego. In 2017 Robert completed a PhD via the University of Glasgow. Also in 2017, Robert completed specialist vocational training as a consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine. He currently works as an NHS consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine and is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Health and Wellbeing.
