Mobility in the urban environment

Our Mobility in the Urban Environment workstream has two areas of focus:

  • The Studying Physical Activity in Children’s Environments across Scotland (SPACES) study, which looks at how the environment influences the physical activity levels of Scottish children and adolescents.
  • Neighbourhood and infrastructure influences on mobility, which explores how people use and experience urban areas, and how the built and natural environment affects their health-related activities and exposures.
