Biography
Rachel Wilson-Lowe graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with an interest in sexual and reproductive health. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a research assistant with Dr Kirstin Mitchell at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit on the STASH trial piloting a new sexual education intervention in Scotland. As part of a 1+3 PhD studentship, she completed her MRES of Sociology and Research Methods, exploring women's abortion disclosures to social network members and perception of abortion stigma. She is now currently working on her PhD, focusing on how and why women talk about abortion in online spaces.
