Biography

Meigan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2014 with a First Class MA (Hons) in Psychology. She completed a MSc in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of Strathclyde in 2017 with distinction. Since completing her undergraduate degree she has worked as a research assistant at the University of Glasgow and University of Nottingham on projects related to stroke, delirium and hearing impairment. Meigan’s interests lie in intervention development to improve health outcomes. Meigan is now working in the Complexity programme at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit, where she is undertaking a PhD investigating the barriers and facilitators of weight loss in weight management programs.
