Elizabeth is at present undertaking a PhD at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit where her work straddles the Complexity and Relationships Programmes. Her PhD applies Soft Systems Methodology to explore what problem issues or unintended consequences may exist in the response to FGM in Scotland, and in what ways the situation may be improved.
