Sexual health findings referenced in Healthcare Improvement Scotland standards document
Two pieces of evidence from the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit's relationships and health team research have been cited in the new Healthcare Improvement Scotland Sexual Health Standards.
A paper led by Professor Kirstin Mitchell that discusses findings from the third Natsal study (National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles) is referenced in regard to the relationship between sexual health and physical and mental health.
The final report from CONUNDRUM (CONdom and CONtraception UNDerstandings: Researching Uptake and Motivations) is referenced in relation to young people’s experiences of sexual health care in Scotland and their knowledge of how to access contraception.
