Biography

I am from city Tambov in Russia where I finished a school and became interested in physics and engineering. I received my BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of General and Applied Physics of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). After a work in cryogenic laboratory of Kapitza Institute for Physical Problems RAS I moved to Finland to do experimental research on superconducting quantum bits. I completed Doctor of Science (Technology) degree at the Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University, Finland. After a short Postdoctoral Research term held at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany I joined James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow.
