Dr Hoang Nguyen

Hoang Nguyen has been postdoctoral research associate at School of Engineering, University of Glasgow since September 2018. He currently focuses on the modelling of brittle crack propagation of graphite bricks in nuclear power plants' reactors. Prior to Glasgow, he finished his Ph.D. at Northumbria University where he worked on the modelling of microplates by means of generalised continuum theories and isogeometric analysis. He obtained his Master's Degree at Sejong University in 2015 and Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at HCMC University of Architecture in 2011.
