The James Watt Nanofabrication Centre (JWNC) has been shortlisted for The Engineer's 'Collaborate to Innovate' awards in the Academic Innovator category.

This award, sponsored by BAE Systems, will go to a university department that demonstrates excellence in innovation and collaboration across multiple projects. Shortlisted teams demonstrated a sustained culture of innovation and collaboration with academic and business partners, and were able to illustrate how their involvement in collaborative projects contributed directly to their success.

Alongside local SME partners Kelvin Nanotechnology Ltd., Gas Sensing Solutions Ltd., and CST Global, the JWNC team will attend the Winners' Party in London on 5th September.
