Dr Raihana Ferdous

Raihana is a research associate working in an interdisciplinary project ‘Geothermally sourced combined power and freshwater generation for eastern Africa (Combi-Gen)’, funded by EPSRC-GCRF.

Raihana is a human geographer and researching in the field of energy and critical development. Her research interest includes energy access, sustainable energy technology, everyday life, urban studies, circular economy. She obtained her PhD from Durham University. She holds an MA in Social and Cultural Geography from the University of Sheffield and BA in Anthropology. Raihana always brings her multidisciplinary perspective to her research.
