Biography

Elizabeth is an award-winning children's book author/illustrator of over two-dozen titles from board books to novels. She holds a BFA from the University of Georgia in Graphic Design, an MFA in Illustration (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh, and is currently a PhD Researcher in Children's Literature School of Education at the University of Glasgow. In the summers, she is Visiting Associate Professor in the MFA in Children's Book Writing and Illustrating program at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.


Research interests

The title of Elizabeth's PhD thesis is 'Tricksters, Witches, and Warriors: Rewriting a Patriarchal Narrative in Children's Fantasy Literature'.
