Biography
Dr. Alejandro Bahena-Rivera is an early career researcher and a chartered psychologist by the British Psychological Society. His Ph.D. research analysed life satisfaction, fear of crime, victimization, and the perception of police forces in Mexico. He has gained experience in mixed methods, through projects on place-making, age and mental health in community settings in the UK and Mexico.
Currently, Alejandro collaborates with the British Academy funded research project “Educational Peacebuilding in Medellin and Acapulco: Understanding the role of education, culture and learning responding to crises”.
