Dr Adrian Zancajo

Biography

Doctor in sociology from the from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Recently, he has been awarded the British Academy postdoctoral fellowship to develop a research project on the market education reform developed in Chile between 2014 and 2018 (starting on January 2019). He has participated in several research projects including “The new quasi-market reforms in education in Latin America” (EDUMERCAL), “Public-Private Partnerships in Educational Governance” (EDUPARTNER) and "Governing the educational and labour market trajectories of secondary TVET graduates in Chile (TVET CHILE)". He has also developed consultancies for organizations such as Education International, Open Society Foundation, Fundació Jaume Bofill and the Observatori Català de la Joventut. 


Research interests

His main areas of interest are education privatization and market policies, educational inequalities and the evaluation of educational policies
