Additional Information
My background is in librarianship, where I have over ten years' experience working in school and public libraries. I am Chair of Youth Libraries Group Scotland and a former judge for the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medal for children's literature. I am a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, and am a mentor for librarians completing their Chartership and Certification qualifications. I have previously worked for Scottish Book Trust creating resources for schools and am curently involved in delivering Bibliotherapy training to school librarians and mental health ambassadors.
