World Religions Research Review 2010-11

Lloyd Ridgeon was awarded two research grants: the first from the British Institute of Persian Studies (“Chivalry in the Persianate World”: £15K workshop grant over three years), the second “Sufism in the contemporary Age”: £37K AHRC research network grant). With partners including Liverpool Hope University and Lund University, this project will be based around three conferences to be held in Liverpool, Lund and Glasgow. He published two monographs related to the theme of Chivalry of the Persian-Sufi world, and he gave a series of lectures at Lund University over a two week period in April. Richard King has had a very active first full year in TRS and took the lead for planning and implementing the new PGT programme.
