Claire is passionate about connecting talent with opportunity and in her role as Employer Liaison Officer for Graduate Apprenticeships she works with partner companies and our academic team to develop talent through our innovative apprenticeship programme.

Educated at the University of St Andrews (MA Hons) and the University of Edinburgh (MSc & LLM), Claire worked in recruitment, admissions and widening participation at both institutions. She became a founding team member of the Saltire Foundation in 2011 and developed and managed their leading international internship programme for 5 years, implementing a sustainable financial model and doubling the number of internship participants. As Project Manager for the Entrepreneurial Scotland Network, Claire developed mentoring and talent matching initiatives, founded on an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for businesses of all sizes in securing and developing talent to deliver commercial value and growth.

Claire works 2.5 days per week for the University of Glasgow, spread across 4 days.
