Parallel Algorithmic Skeletons for General Purpose, Distributed Memory, Tree Search

Research summary

A current PhD student and member of the Glasgow Parallelism Group (GPG). Completed an undergraduate B.Eng degree in Electronic and Software Engineering at the University of Glasgow before pursing a PhD. A notable achievement was winning Young Software Engineer of the Year in 2014 for his fourth year dissertation work. Currently working on distributed programming using the functional language Haskell and the Haskell Distributed Parallel Haskell (HdpH) DSL.
