International Summer Internship Programme
The International Summer Internship Programme (ISIP), hosted by the School of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow provides a unique opportunity for talented senior undergraduate students from partner universities around the world to conduct research under the supervision of our faculty members.
Ranked 5th and 6th in the UK for Computer Science, we are renowned for research at the intersection of theoretical and applied computing, with 100% of our impact deemed internationally-excellent and world-leading. We are proud to offer a wide variety of projects across our five research sections:
- Formal Analysis, Theory and Algorithms (FATA)
- Human Computer Interaction (GIST)
- Information, Data and Analysis (IDA)
- GLAsgow SyStems (GLASS)
- Centre for Computing Science Education (CCSE)
We also host numerous research themes including cyber security, healthcare technologies, sustainable computing, and media and data science.
Students will gain hands-on experience in an invigorating and friendly environment where world-leading research is delivered. Selected students will receive an award of £1,000 each from the University of Glasgow for a 12-week program over the summer.
