The rise of cooking television show formats within mixed media environments and the multiplatform era.
A recent pattern has emerged amongst some of the top television production companies in the world – an investment into very contemporary and fresh new cookery formats. This research will investigate how the cookery program has lent itself to new genres to become a successful television format, which managerial decisions are made when selling international cookery show formats abroad and how cookery formats translate onto digital, multi-platforms and social media.

She has presented research at the University of Oslo in Norway on an international exchange program, has guest lectured and conducted academic workshops at the University of Glasgow and in schools across Scotland on multiple occasions and is currently a lead organizer of the FTV and CCPR Post-Graduate Symposium at the University of Glasgow. In June of 2017, she will be presenting her research at the International Conference on Media Studies in Warsaw, Poland and will have her conference paper published in an e-journal. In November of 2017, she will be presenting her research in Vancouver, Canada at the Second International Conference on Communication and Media Studies.
