Dee is the co-editor, with Professor Sally Mackey, of a unique series for Palgrave Macmillan: Performing Landscapes.

Performing Landscapes offers a critical study of generic and complex sites of and for performance. Each book focuses on a topographical site such as Forests, Edgelands, Mountains, Homes, Wilderness, Islands and Deserts. Distinctive to this series is that such landscape figures will be located both on and off the theatrical stage, approached as both material and representational grounds for performance-led analyses. With its unique focus on particular and singular sites, Performing Landscapes will develop in novel ways the debates concerning performance's multiple relations to environment, ecology and global concerns.

Projected publication of first tranche of books: 2017.

Titles already offered and under consideration include: Islands, Rivers, Mountains, Forests, Homes, Skies, Ruins, Gardens, Wastelands and Seas.

Researchers interested in proposing a title for the series should contact Dee in the first instance.
