  • Recruitment from a research project should be discussed with your Project Coordinator - Research Management Team

Managers of New Colleagues - Checklist

Central Human Resources, the Service/ Institute/ School, and new employees themselves all have a role in an effective induction process. 

Pre-arrival, Central Human Resources will have sent new employees an email welcoming them to the University, and providing web links to a range of online induction resources, including guidance on how to set up their GUID. 

Post–arrival, Central HR will provide all new employees to the opportunity to attend a range of induction events including 90-minute session with information about services and benefits.

Managing your PGR Profile

This information is for postgraduate research students. If you are an academic and want to manage your research profile, visit: updating an academic research profile 

Postgraduate research student profiles are available to postgraduate research students. This will give you the opportunity to have a public facing profile to explain your research.

A link to your profile will appear on your supervisors' profiles and also on a student list within your school or research institute.

If you find any errors with your profile:

  • Need for change of name -  If your name is incorrect for any reason get in touch with and we can investigate.
  • Thesis project title error – If the title of your thesis is incorrect, please get in contact with your PGR administrator or MyCampus and they will investigate.
