Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland: 2020 Annual Meeting in Glasgow

On 28th and 29th March 2020 the Annual Meeting of the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland will take place in the Teaching and Learning Centre, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This meeting will bring together leading clinician scientists and early career researchers across all medical disciplines. The meetings of the Association have always been characterised by presentations of the highest quality, and represent many of the best achievements of academic medicine throughout Britain and Ireland.

The meeting will see a number of keynote lectures including The Osler Lecture by Professor Sir Nilesh Samani and The George Griffin Lecture by Professor Dame Sally Davies. On the first day of the meeting there will be a workshop for early career researchers.

I cordially invite you to join me at this important event. Details can be found here. I particularly encourage PhD students, clinical lecturers and early career researchers to submit the best of their work for presentation at the meeting. The abstract submission site is open and can be found on the meeting website.
