BHF CoRE Summer School 2018 applications now open!

WHAT:  The BHF Centre of Research Excellence, is hosting a high-level Summer School on Vascular Biology and Biomedicine

WHEN: 15th - 20th July, 2018

WHERE: SCMH, University of Glasgow 

WHY ATTEND:  

The 5-day summer school is for early-career non-clinical and clinical researchers (PhD students and post-docs)and the topics will cover everything ‘vascular’, from molecular biology to vascular medicine . There will be many hands-on-opportunities to learn and perfect new skills, techniques and applications. This summer school, designed to encourage open discussion, is not only a special meeting to learn and share information, but also an excellent platform to build an effective network for communication and collaboration. The faculty will include national and international experts and guest lectures in the field of Vascular Biomedicine. The Summer School promises not only to be an immersive, fascinating and hands-on course, but also a social, international experience with delegates expected to attend from North America and Europe as well as the UK. 

HOW TO APPLY:   

Selection for the Summer School is highly competitive and we therefore ask you to register your interest in taking part by replying to this email with a very short statement (a few lines) detailing why you would like to attend, including written confirmation from your supervisor that you may attend. Based on our evaluation of your application, you may then be selected and asked to complete your registration.
