Professor Peter Langhorne attended the Stroke Rehabilitation conference in New Zealand
Professor Peter Langhorne from SCMH was recently invited to New Zealand as a Keynote Speaker in a stroke rehabilitation conference organised by the Rose Centre for Stroke Recovery and Research.
Peter greatly enjoyed the hospitality and research interactions with his hosts. His duties included a keynote presentation and discussions, running a research seminar and a PhD appraisal. It was not all work and several invited speakers took part in a zip lining afternoon! The visit culminated with a public lecture (Recovery and Rehabilitation after Stroke: what the research is telling us) organised by the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation.
