Graduate Award
About the award
As an Adam Smith Business School student, you are invited to take part in our schemes to develop your skills outside of your degree programme. These recognise valuable skills and experience you will gain as part of extracurricular activities undertaken alongside your degree programme.
The Graduate Award will acknowledge your commitment and achievements from taking these additional activities and will represent the breadth of your skills in developing you as an enlightened, engaged and enterprising graduate.
Registration information will be sent to eligible students.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
Completing activities and taking part in events that encompass the range of our values, provides you with a set of skills and knowledge that will enhance your University experience and develop capacity for personal development, networking, employability and career planning.
By reflecting on your experience, you will be able to showcase your achievements to future employers.
WHAT WILL IT INVOLVE?
Students registered on Business School programmes can take part in the Award at any point of their degree. For Undergraduate students, you can build on this as you move through your degree, if you wish.
To complete the Award, you will undertake sessions on key skills which will be compulsory for all, take part in activities and events throughout the year and then reflect on these skills in your submission at the end.
Your submission can be in any format you feel best demonstrates your development and experience.
