Sustainability & the effect on modern retailers
This workshop-style presentation explores the latest academic research into sustainability, discussing its effects on retailers and its impact on customers' ethical behaviour. The presentation will be delivered by Helen Goworek and facilitated by Alex Hiller (NTU), including content on ethical consumption devised by Deirdre Shaw, Andreas Chatzidakis and Michal Carrington. The audience will consist of over 100 representatives from large and small retailers across the UK.
This interactive session will offer the audience the opportunity to debate the advantages and barriers involved in ethical consumption and adopting more sustainable approaches towards retailing. The workshop will end with a Q&A session, reflecting on the key issues raised by participants.
