About us

The Strategy and Decision Making Research Cluster focuses on practices and processes of strategic management and it provides an engaged, enlightened and enterprising research and teaching community. Practices and processes of strategy centre on how strategies are formed by individuals and organisations. This is central to understanding organisational change, growth and performance. Cluster members bring together reflective practice, scholarship and research, collaborating with leading public and private organisations, and actively contributing to academic, public, and business communities in terms of policy and practice. Cluster members publish in internationally leading journals, are members of the editorial boards of major journals, lead and participate in major academic organisations like the Strategic Management Society; and are members of recognised chartered professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Managers.
