- 2009 : King Bhumibol Scholarship from Kasetsart University, Thailand
Saowalak holds a BSc in Cooperative Economics with first class honours from Kasetsart University, Thailand and a MSc in Applied Economics with merit from the University of Strathclyde. She was recruited by the Royal Thai Government through a fast track programme from talented undergraduates nationwide and works as a Tax Economist in the Revenue Department of Thailand. Saowalak has a great interest in tax incentives, tax policy and international tax systems.
