Professor John Finch, Head of School welcomed the achievers to a special ceremony in the Kelvin Gallery and presented each with a certificate to mark their success.

The award promotes, recognises and rewards the highest levels of scholarly performance and supports the Business School’s vision, mission and values. It recognises those students who have excelled academically, demonstrated intellectual inquisitiveness and shown their potential to contribute significantly in their chosen fields.

Speaking about his time studying for a Masters in International Business and Entrepreneurship at Adam Smith Business School, Kevin Hilkersberger, said: “I had a great year and gained insights into start-up businesses and especially enjoyed the guest speaker events. Because of the international context I had a lot of different experiences and it really broadened my horizons. Getting the Adam Smith Scholar Award for Excellence highlights how our hard work is appreciated and it’s something I can show to potential employers.”
