Aimed at MBA students, the European Summer School for Advanced Management (ESSAM) will bring together academics and participants from across the world including Australasia, Asia, North America and Europe. Together they will explore issues related to Sustainable Futures in Uncertain Times and work with local enterprises on a range of projects designed to make a lasting impact.

The programme will include lectures, workshops, a consulting project and company visits.

Bringing together a group of participants from diverse professions, backgrounds and cultures, ESSAM gives students the chance to work together and share experiences whilst exploring opportunities of the future in an international setting.

Javier Yanez-Arenas, MBA Director, said: “ESSAM was co-founded by University of Glasgow more than 30 years ago and we are honoured and excited to be once again hosting this prestigious event. MBA participants from around the world will be coming to Dumfries to learn and share experiences, and assist local enterprises through their consultancy engagement.
The event includes a great programme with excellent participants who are making a difference both globally and locally.”

The ESSAM conference is being held from 24 June to 6 July 2018 at The Crichton Campus, University of Glasgow, Dumfries, Scotland, DG1 4ZL.
