Prof Siebert awarded Fellowship for UK government research project

Professor Sabina Siebert, Professor of Management, has recently been awarded an Academic Fellow of UK Parliament to carry out research at the UK’s Houses of Parliament in London.

The aim of Professor Siebert’s research is to explore the link between the institution of Westminster Parliament and the building, Westminster Palace, focusing specifically on the extent to which the practices and the workings of the Parliament is intertwined with the building.

Professor Siebert said: “By observing the practices of and interviewing people working in the building – the Members of Parliament, Lords and other Parliament staff – I aim to throw some light on this question, but also to formulate some more general insights into the role that organizational spaces play in maintaining institutions over time.”
