Glasgow Talks press release
The Adam Smith Business School has joined the Clydesdale Bank as a partner of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Glasgow Talks event series.
The Glasgow Talks series looks to put leading figures from among business, society and politics in front of Glasgow businesses, to tell their stories, explain their business and answer Glaswegians’ questions and challenges.
In recent years, the series has welcomed Sir Rupert Soames, Willie Walsh, Sir Brian Souter, Katherine Grainger CBE and many more.
True to the revolutionary economist after whom the School is named, the Adam Smith Business School will use this opportunity to contribute to wider discussions around business, society and the progression of our city and country.
Professor John Finch, Head of Adam Smith Business School comments 'The Glasgow Talks series is an investment in the city’s business community. We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce to provide this forum for businesses, policy makers and academics to learn from one another and enhancing Glasgow’s vibrant economy.'
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Chief Executive Stuart Patrick added 'Glasgow Talks has gained a deserved reputation for the quality of its speakers, and that will continue in the months ahead as we aim high with the topicality of subject and standard of speaker for these highly-anticipated influencer events. We are thrilled that the Adam Smith Business School has chosen to add its well-regarded clout to supporting the series, and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.'
Contributions made by the School to the Glasgow Talks series will ensure the events remain a highlight in the calendar of Glasgow businesses.
