Adam Smith Business School event programme

1 November – 12 November 2021

The UK will host the 26 UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow from 31 October – 12 November 2021.

The meeting will bring countries together to work towards achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The University of Glasgow recognises that the world is facing a climate emergency and urgent action is needed. As a world-changing University, we have put climate at the heart of our agenda. We are committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, raising public understanding of climate change and the challenges it represents for humanity.

The Adam Smith Business School, in collaboration with our event partners, will deliver a programme of COP26 events from 1 November – 12 November 2021.  Taking place both online and on campus, our event series will cover key topics including:

  • The Aftermath of the Post-Covid Era: Embracing the Net Zero Global Economy
  • Glasgow Carbon: Reporting Data through Graphic Art
  • Green Finance Green Futures: A Resource for Schools
