Glasgow Talks... with Professor Sa’ad Sam Medhat

Using innovation to navigate in a Sea of Ambiguity and Uncertainty

Friday 14 August, 9am to 10am
Webinar with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce online

We’re all in crucial survival mode! Managing with clarity to manage ambiguity is the new strategic imperative that business leaders must become more adept at. Fundamentally, business leaders are questioning the validity of their business models today. Establishing a recovery plan is paramount, but to achieve this, leaders need to understand the parameters that govern and affect the ambiguity surrounding their business operations. Only then, through such understanding, will leaders be able to develop new strategies to tackle ambiguity. Given this inevitable change in direction, this talk will look at whether pre-COVID-19 business strategies hold future currency? And will explore the ‘what’s next’ to drive up business resilience.

Glasgow Talks is delighted to welcome Prof. Sa’ad Sam Medhat, the Founder and Chief Executive of the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (IKE), who will lead us on a discussion of how a review, recover and reinvent approach can provide a flexible and adaptable business strategy for business and future success.
