The Adam Smith Business School was pleased to showcase the Barefoot in Business Film as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week in partnership with Young Enterprise Scotland. The Barefoot in Business film is a ground breaking documentary, which showcased the work of female entrepreneurs across Uganda embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship.

Further information:

The film aims to inspire and empower the next generation of self-assured, socially conscious female entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the UK, the US and beyond.  The film by BAFTA award-winning filmmaker and founder of Scrumptious Productions, Carol Cooke, follows the fortunes of Uganda’s growing band of business women as they defy the statistics, stereotypes and credit restrictions and compete for the prestigious Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
