October's Glasgow Talks welcomed Mark Logan, Chief Operating Officer of Skyscanner.

Mark Logan joined Skyscanner in early 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, where he has overall responsibility for Growth, Operations and International Markets. Since joining, with a remit to transform the business and drive growth, Skyscanner’s valuation has risen 20-fold and now employs 800 people across 10 international offices.

Mark’s previous roles included VP of Engineering at Atlantech, sold in 2000 for $180m, CTO at Sumerian and Director of Advanced Services at Cisco. In March 2014 Mark was named IoD Scotland Director of the Year and later that year he received the Highly Commended award by the UK Institute of Directors.

With headquarters in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, as well as Singapore, Sofia, Beijing, Miami and Barcelona the site is multilingual offering flight searches in over 30 languages.
