British Council Creative Economy Scholarships

In partnership with the British Council, the University of Glasgow is offering 2 scholarships to students in India applying for the MSc Creative Industries and Cultural Policy.

The creative economy is one of the most rapidly growing economic sectors of the world and often leads the way in digital innovation, income generation, job creation and export earnings for national GDP. Culture policy allied with public and private investment shapes the creative industries. This same industry drives economic growth and wealth creation. The creative industries help shape society and build inclusive communities of diverse people and places. Collectively arts, heritage and international collaboration contribute to sustainable development.

The year 2022 marks the anniversary of India’s 75th year of Independence and to mark this milestone the University of Glasgow and the British Council are offering the opportunity for 2 students to pursue this one-year postgraduate course in the UK.
