Neuroscience and Psychology are disciplines which are rapidly developing new insights into the brain functions which underpin consciousness, organise behaviour and underlie disorders such as mental illness.
All the honours degree programmes extend over four-years of full-time study. In Psychology, we offer single honours and joint honours programmes with a broad range of subjects in Arts, Science and Social Science, including English, Management Studies, Languages, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing Science and Neuroscience. All of our Psychology degrees are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) for the graduate basis for registration.

We earned the highest grade possible for a very high proportion of research, leading Psychology at Glasgow to be ranked 7th in the UK. For teaching, we are consistently ranked 1st in Scotland and in the top 5 in the UK in national league tables, such as the Guardian Universities Guide and the Times Good University Guide.
