Research interests

I obtained an MA in Psychology from the University of Glasgow before going on to complete an MSc in Brain Imaging in 2013. My PhD research was funded by the ESRC and focussed on audience design in language production. More specifically, my work investigated whether retrieval fluency in memory acts as a heuristic in audience design. During my PhD, I worked in Dr. Dale Barr's TalkLab at the University of Glasgow.

In November 2016, I joined the Face Research Lab to work in the KINSHIP team on the ERC funded project “How do humans recognise kin?”
