OHBM mini-conference with Dr Lars Muckli, The Great Glasgow Brain Fest and more

The Federation of European Neurosciences (FENS) 2020 forum will be held in Glasgow on 11th-15th July.

In the run up to this FENS forum, the Host Society Committee has organised various public engagement events under the banner of ‘The Great Glasgow Brain Fest’. Our main event is being held on 4th and 5th July (weekend before FENS starts) at The Glasgow Science Centre and we’re keen to have contributions from colleagues across the U.K. who would like to run a neuroscience based public engagement activity.

If you have an activity ready to go, or would be interested in developing one, or have questions then please email Leanne McKay (Leanne.mckay@glasgow.ac.uk) or fill out the google form following this link: https://forms.gle/RHiQyKVymysRed8h9

In more news, Dr Lars Muckli will host an Organization of Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) mini-conference in conjunction with The Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) Forum in July in Glasgow.

This mini-conference represents a partnering of OHBM and the Human Brain Project (HBP) societies alongside the FENS forum, and will explore ‘multiscale, multimethod human brain imaging’. The mini conference will welcome an exciting panel of local and international speakers who will describe multiple levels of structural and functional organization, across multi-scale networks in human, monkey and rodent brains. Registration details will follow soon.
